Ikumapayi pushed open the metal door, and a blast of cold air hit her. She stepped through the doorway and found herself in a large, cavernous space. The room was filled with strange, pulsating lights, and Ikumapayi could feel a strange energy emanating from the walls.
She noticed a large, glowing portal in the center of the room, and she felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Suddenly, Ikumapayi heard a voice behind her. “Welcome, Dr. Abolore,” it said. “I see you’re curious about the experiment.”
Ikumapayi turned to see a figure cloaked in shadows. “Who are you?” she demanded.
The figure stepped forward, revealing a gaunt, hollow-eyed man. “I am Dr. Evans,” he said. “And I am responsible for the experiment that opened the portal.”
Ikumapayi’s eyes widened in horror. “What have you done?” she asked.
Dr. Evans smiled, his eyes glinting with madness. “I have unlocked the secrets of the universe,” he said. “And I have unleashed a horror beyond your wildest imagination.” his sinister laughter echoed through the room.
Ikumapayi trembled in her spot.
