Adunni’ eyes were fixed on the spoon, mind racing with questions. What was this strange energy she felt? Why did the spoon seem to be speaking to her?She shook her head, chuckling nervously. “You’re just being silly, Adunni,” she schooled herself.
But as she turned, she felt a sudden pang of reluctance. She didn’t want to let go of the spoon. It felt… important.
Adunni hesitated for a moment, then decided to take the spoon downstairs with her. Maybe one of the other chefs could tell her more about it. She picked it up and dipped it inside her pocket.
***Some minutes later***
Adunni entered the kitchen, she was greeted by the warm aroma of roasting vegetables and the sound of sizzling meat. Her stomach growled in response, reminding her that he hadn’t eaten lunch yet.
Chef Somonri, the head chef, looked up from the stove and raised an eyebrow. “Been ages, Adunni.”Adunni held out the spoon, feeling a sense of trepidation. “What’s that you’ve got there?” Chef Somonri queried. “I found it in the attic,” Adunni said. “It feels… weird.”

Chef Somonri’s expression changed from curiosity to concern. “Where exactly did you find it?” he asked, his voice low.
Adunni hesitated, unsure why Chef Somonri was reacting so strangely. “It was between the pages of an old recipe-book,” she replied.
Chef Somonri nodded thoughtfully. “I think I know what that spoon might be,” he said. “But I need to check something first.”
Adunni watched as Chef Somonri rummaged through a drawer, pulling out an old leather-bound book. The chef flipped through the pages, muttering to himself.
Finally, he looked up at Adunni. “This spoon is said to have once belonged to the great Chef Avia,” he said. “It’s said to have… unusual special properties.”
Adunni’ eyes widened in excitement. “What kind of properties?” she asked.
Chef Somonri hesitated, as if unsure how much to reveal. “Let’s just say that the spoon is said to be able to… manipulate the cooking process,” he said.
Adunni’s mind was racing with possibilities. She couldn’t wait to try out the spoon and see what kind of magic it could create.
